Create a New Dummy Item

How to Use Duplicate Protection

Duplicate protection is done by creating dummy items that are not part of the geeklist itself. The want list for the dummy item is the list of items that you want at most one (1) of (usually this will probably be different copies of the same game but need not be). The dummy item itself is then added as a want to your real items for which you are willing to trade for.

As such, the dummy items you create you'll see both as an item that you are offering (the font color will be green for the dummy items and they will always be right most), and as an item you want.

In addition, any item which is wanted by dummy item(s) has their background color set as light grey to make it clear you probably don't want put that item on the want list for a real item.
